Description
Swing pegs are a very interesting, very enjoyable recreational game that disappeared from the public consciousness for a while, but has now made a comeback. Everyone can play it, regardless of age or gender. It can be fun on its own, but it can also be a very interesting part of a family day out. Not many people can play at the same time, but the game is very fast-paced, so it won't get boring. It develops anticipation skills, as you have to think about the arc of the returning ball and how it hits the dummies. The idea is to swing a ball on a rope, it goes around the standing pieces, and then the returning ball has to knock down as many of the nine pieces as possible. A dummy hit by a ball going up is not a valid point. It is fitting to grip the ball after the hit so that it does not knock over any dummies, just by aligning itself with the centre. There are two known forms of the rules.rnFull toss: to knock down as many pieces as possible in a given number of strokes. Tarling: to throw as few strokes as possible. The length of the rope is ideal when the ball is held and pulled to the left (towards the column) to reach the head of the left dummy.
