Molten recently introduced the latest version of the official FIBA competition basketball in the BG series. As part of this, they created the BG4550 ball, a slightly improved version of the previous GB4500 model. While it retains the excellent qualities of its predecessor, the BG4550 features an enhanced surface for even better grip and control. The new textured surface provides ideal grip, improving ball handling even when sweat or moisture is present. The Molten BG4550 basketball is the smaller sibling of the official BG5000 game ball. Made from premium composite leather, it offers excellent grip and bounce and is perhaps a bit easier to play with than the BG5000.
